Mr Surendra Shah is the founder of Panasia Engineers Pvt Ltd. He has been an innovator from the get-go. The drive to push his own creations and break boundaries was there in him since a really young age. He not only excelled in the HVAC industry due to his immense knowledge in the field but also always stuck to the core and principles to have a rock-solid foundation that disproved a lot of myths in the industry.
Mr Shah setup Panasia Engineers Mumbai Facility in 1971 with the sole purpose of R&D and innovation in the HVAC industry. He holds many patents as an innovator. These patented technologies are solutions that no other company could provide. The company was setup with the help of friends and family. But Mr Shah’s main support/mentor was his father, Mr Himmatlal Shah. He guided him how to do business and survive in the cut-throat industry.
Mr Surendra Shah has always said “Age is just a number.” He is still very active in the industry and his company goal, till date, is to educate not exploit/sell. Having said that, he has mentored and guided over two dozen young engineering teams in their final year HVAC project. He was also a visiting faculty in Rachna Sansad College of Architecture. He was one of the founding members of the Ishrae Mumbai Chapter and still actively takes part as a lecturer and speaker at their events.
The company has won many accolades since the influx of the second and third generation, but their main thrust or goal has always been to keep innovating and conserving energy.
